Leeds United fans are worried following news of a potential Barry Douglas injury after he took a knock when going in for a 50-50 with Jed Wallace.
The Scotsman will be undergoing a scan on his knee early next week to ensure that there’s no underlying problems, however, it is expected that he will be available to play this weekend.
Barry Douglas managed to play through the injury against Millwall bagging an assist for Luke Ayling’s equalising goal with a tremendous cross across the face of goal.
It is very unlikely that the scan will show any significant damage and it is being performed for precautionary purposes.
Assuming the scan doesn’t highlight any unexpected problems, Barry Douglas will likely feature for Leeds United against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.
