Just before half time, Leeds hero, Gaetano Berardi was subbed off and limped down the tunnel, reportedly punching it on the way past.
It is suspected that Berardi has faced another set back following his return to the field, after just less than 45 minutes, leaving the field with Rob price.
According to reports, Berardi was expected to finish the 90 minutes today but has had to be subbed off early, meaning a setback is imminent and he likely will not be available for the Rotherham game this Saturday.
The Leeds United faithful will have been praying for Berardi to complete all 90 minutes today, injury free, following Pontus Jansson’s suspension after a controversial second yellow. However, this has not been the case with the Swiss full-back being taken off before Leeds intended.
Some good news however, Brown is set to feature in the second half, meaning injury concerns following his last minute substitution will be put to bed.
