Leeds United have been linked and interesting to many Wingers this season, however, it seems they have found their man, showing big interesting in Swansea City’s Daniel James.

The interest in this player comes from Bielsa requesting that Orta looks for players who will add width and pace to the squad.

One of Bielsa’s demands, is that Leeds only sign players which can be used in the Premier League, as he as confidence of our promotion hopes.

As a result of this, it means that Leeds are looking to sign players which are improvement on the current squad, and with Alioski seemingly establishing himself in the LWB position, Leeds are thinner than ever out wide.

It is clear that if the signing of James falls through, Leeds United will approach their second choice, Jefferson Montero, however their primary target is James. We understand that Leeds United are not interested in signing both players on a permanent deal, however are interested in the permanent signing of Daniel James, and a loan deal for Montero.

Daniel James is a 21 year old Welsh prodigy who can play in CAM, and on the wing. We understand that he is the primary option, due to his fluidity on the pitch, meaning there’s depth in the number 10 role as well as out wide, due to one player coming in.

This will give competition for injured player, Izzy Brown, who is looking to make an impact on the squad early February.
