Leeds United have accepted a bid worth £7-million for their 18/19 top scorer, Kemar Roofe, who will join Anderlecht on a three-year-deal.
The payment structure is still under discussion between the two clubs, with the deal set to be finalized in coming weeks.
Roofe has not actively pushed for the move, but with 1-year left on his contract at Elland Road, a move was always looking imminent.
Roofe scored 14 goals for Leeds United last season and will be a player they look to replace as soon as possible.
This sale of Kemar Roofe will allow Leeds to keep hold of key talents like Kalvin Phillips, who has also been heavily linked with a move away from the Whites in this transfer window.
Furthermore, it may also enable them to show some more activity during the rest of the window, with links to Liverpool’s Ryan Kent seemingly not going away.
More to follow.
