Following the imminent departure of Kemar Roofe, Leeds United are set to sign the Liverpool winger, Ryan Kent.
Representatives of Leeds United have contacted Liverpool, who are on board with the situation and keen to have the deal go through. Assuming Roofe passes his medical at Anderlecht, Kent will be at Elland Road within days.
Leeds first tried to sign Kent at the start of the window, as a loan deal, however, interest was dropped after Liverpool demanded that they want a permanent deal for Kent.
Bielsa has kept his eye on Kent for the remainder of the window, even speaking to Klopp directly to try and persuade him to let Kent join Leeds on a loan deal. However, the departure of Roofe has opened up the opportunity for Leeds to sign Ryan Kent on a permanent basis, which they will almost certainly snap up.
Kent is keen to join the Whites this summer and contract negotiations are not expected to be a stumbling block.
Bielsa plans on converting Kent into a number 10, due to the attributed he sees in him and if there’s one thing we have learned since Bielsa joined Leeds United, it’s not to ever doubt his judgement.
There is no interest in another first-team Striker, however, two additions are set to join the under 23’s squad, one of which is a striker.
