Talks between Andrea Radrizzani and QSI have been ongoing for months, however, following a meeting today sources close to QSI have confirmed that the deal ”will very likely get done”.
Sources at Elland Road tell us that no concrete deal has been made yet, however, it seems talks have advanced massively with Andrea confident that QSI can assist Leeds United in their promotion bid.
Radrizzani and QSI’s chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, are long-time friends and associates, but Radrizzani made it clear from the start that a controlling stake in Leeds United was not available, regardless of the price.
This spearheaded today’s meeting where QSI looked for a 15% stake in the club, with an option to increase the percentage stake or a potential buyout if Leeds United fail to go up in the next 2 seasons.
Talks are still underway, but a deal is very close to being negotiated and the next week will be a critical time for the negotiations, with it being make or break.
More to follow.
