Leeds United have suffered a major knock-back with the Whites top scorer Kemar Roofe has suffered an injury to his knee, worrying that it coul be damage to a ligament.

An image of Roofe has surfaced around social media with a brace on his leg, with other facts all suggesting that the image is real.

It is expected that Roofe will be out for 4 weeks minimum, however, further information will be given following a scan which is scheduled for later this week.

It seems as though the injury is to a ligament in his knee, similar to that of Leeds’ number 9 Patrick Bamford earlier in the season, however, it is possible that Roofe is wearing the brace for precautionary reasons.

As seen in each image, Roofe has been pictured in a leg brace. It was suggested that this was an old photo, however, it is clearly seen by his latest Instagram story that he is wearing that exact brace on his left leg despite not training since the Swansea game.

Roofe hobbled off at the end of the Swansea game, holding his knee. This could highlight the fact that there is a major issue there, which could cost the in-form striker his place in the team.
